CONCLUSION



From the discussion above in the web and the class, we can conclude that Human resource information system is the advance of technology and development that can help both parties’ employee and employer in order to achieve organization goals using the technology. Organization can improve their productivity, efficiency, and effectively in effort to work by using this information technology. Using Information system and technology will help the company to do their job and task and minimize the human error and efficient in do the task.


When the human combine with technology usually will outcome with the simplicity and efficiency. And it is proved.  in the most situation, HRIS help the Human resources to decision making in HR. As we know the decision made should increase in quality, and as a result the productivity of both employee and the way of manage will be increase and become more effective.


In order to face the globalizing challenge I the business world, we as the company need to consider all aspect that may broke us or increase our company achievement. there are some of the ways and strategies to we have to choose carefully, and we have to consider all option and risk that might be occur. we have to do the planning strategy and formulated all the aspect wisely in order to achieve the goals.




In the global new era like this, we need to adopt and adapt with the changes in business environment and support the effort to be changed by human resource information system and information technology that we can use in the daily business life to make our work easier and efficient.

Information system for competitive advantages


In this part, we will discuss basic competitive strategies and explain how a business can use IT to confront the competitive forces it faces and Identify several strategic uses of IT and give examples of how they give competitive advantages to a business



Information Technology plays a major role in re-engineering most business processes

1.       Can substantially increase process efficiency ( Help the workers to minimize the process so the time, money and effort can efficiently using)

´  Example: Priceline uses online seller bidding so the buyer sets the price. it will help the customer and producer to increase their capability to buy and get the efficient price for both parties.




Differentiation Strategy

´  Differentiate a firm’s products from its competitors’

´  Focus on a particular segment or niche of market

´  Example: The fashion industry which using online shop and not the development of their business will increase in online shop side because using the information technology, customers can search and buy he thing easier. the strategy marketing must be develop to make the identity for our company.











 Innovation Strategy

´  Unique products, services, or markets

´  Radical changes to business processes

´  Example: Amazon’s online, full-service customer systems. With the innovation which means different from the other competitors make our company unique and special and will interact the customers to buy from our company and success our business




Growth Strategy


´  Expand company’s capacity to produce

´  Expand into global markets

´  Diversify into new products or services

´  Example: Wal-Mart’s merchandise ordering via global satellite tracking.





 Alliance Strategy

´  Establish linkages and alliances with customers, suppliers, competitors, consultants, and other companies

´  Includes mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, virtual companies


´  Example: Wal-Mart uses automatic inventory replenishment by supplier

Globalizing HRIS ( Transnational )




In this post we will discuss on globalizing of Human resources information system through models


In terms of HRIS, in the organization they have 3 models that can be implemented in organization. But firstly, we have to know what the strategic need of company that have to be consider:

1.      the need of responsive through local differentiation
2.      the need for efficiency through global integration
3.      the need for learning through leveraging worldwide innovation and knowledge sharing


After that, there is an option that company may choose through the model:





1.      Multinational model

this model takes a responsive approach to implement and manage the HRIS to be sensitive in terms of local and regional differences and allowing local operation to have significant amount of freedom and organizational autonomy

2.      Global Model
this model takes an efficiency approach in terms of implement and manage HRIS by build a single and standardized centralized system .this model try to make one perspective in organization

3.      International Model

this model take implement and manage HRIS by transferring and adapting knowledge and expertise to local organizations. and this model allows for exploitation of the core parent company/s in terms of adaption of technologies, business practices, [roducts, service and knowledge, expertise.


But when the environment changes, we need TRANSNATIONAL HRIS


Transnational HRIS Brings efficiencies through an integrated network of competencies and processes, provides flexibility through specialised roles and responsibilities, and creates a learning organisation through the facilitation of multiple innovation processes
there are 3 critical components:

1.       Global efficiency
collect best practices and technology all over the world and build integrated. the benefits such as succession planning and training course design

2.       Local flexibility
using the treatment of foreign operations in order to building the flexibility and responsiveness that HRIS need today. this components also responsive to local needs.

3.       Innovation and sharing

Commit in learning and sharing in the organization to innovate our products and processes through explore the using of internet of the latest development in knowledge sharing


Introduction of HRIS



In this post I will discuss with all of you guys about the introduction of Human resources Information system.

From my understanding of HRIS itself, in a simple way HRIS is the combination between Human resources and information technology. When the human combine with technology usually will outcome with the simplicity and efficiency. And it is proved.  in the most situation, HRIS help the Human resources to decision making in HR. In another way, an HRIS can be an alternative option, through software (technology ) for small and big business to take care the number of activities, including those related to human resources, accounting, management and payroll. AN HRIS allows company to plan its HR costs more effectively, as well as to manage them and control them without needing to allocate too many resources toward them. ( HR Payroll system)

Holla, here i am :)

Hello all of my friends, thank you for visiting and reading  this blog and welcome to my blog.

First of all I want to introduce myself as a writer. My name is Tasya Inanda, all of you can call me tasya.  im from east Jakarta which is part of Indonesia . My religion is Muslim and my hobby such as playing basketball, listen to the music, playing guitar, dance, photography and travelling. . Okay, in the university im not only study  but I learn how  the experience to be in the organization. so I join with the aiesec, in GCDP Program, Indonesia Society in Malaysia and organize an event such as, POPPIM, Indonesia Festival and so on.  I’m still confuse why I didn’t take the bachelor of art or something to support my hobby. But Allah give me another way,  maybe because this is my destiny to be an Human resource practitioner amen. :D 

For my education background I had graduated from 31 Senior high school in Jakarta and post pone my education for one year and be the intern in national newspaper of Indonesia called as “ Kompas”. Currently I am a student at University Technology Malaysia, Johor Bahru. I am taking Bachelor degree of science field in Human resource Development and Now is my third year I have been studied in UTM

Okay next I introduce a little bit about this blog. this blog consist of all about Human Resources Information System and my experience learn and practice through human resources information system knowledge.


The purpose of this blog is to fulfill the one of my subject requirement in my 5th semester which is Human Resource Information system  ( HRIS)  because we need to create and writing in a blog about the outcome and reflection of my learning process in particular topic that I was learned in the class.
